{"id":1090857,"date":"2016-03-18T03:57:02","date_gmt":"2016-03-18T10:57:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/deactivating-wootickets-plugin-causes-500-error-2\/"},"modified":"2016-03-18T18:04:39","modified_gmt":"2016-03-19T01:04:39","slug":"deactivating-wootickets-plugin-causes-500-error-2","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/deactivating-wootickets-plugin-causes-500-error-2\/","title":{"rendered":"deactivating wootickets plugin causes 500 error"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have just tried deactivating wootickets as per the recommended procedure here:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/knowledgebase\/moving-to-event-tickets-plus\/<\/p>\n<p>and the entire (enormous) site returns 500 Server Error.<\/p>\n<p>I would follow the advice here: https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/knowledgebase\/testing-for-conflicts\/ except wp-admin also gives 500 error.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve tried deactivating plugins folder, rebuild htaccess, reinstalled WPadmin, WPinclude files&#8230; its as though the database has been corrupted&#8230; can&#8217;t work out what is happening with permalinks.<\/p>\n<p>Now faced with rebuilding the entire site &amp; database table by table from scratch overnight.
