While it&#8217;s been a quiet couple of months since our last release, it&#8217;s been anything but quiet\u00a0for our team and we&#8217;re happy to say that <strong>The Events Calendar 4.0.6<\/strong> is done and ready for your updating pleasure.<\/p>\n<p>This is a significant release to us because it marks a new beginning in the way we get new releases in your hands. Rather than package bug fixes and new features together, bug fixes are now their own release. This not only allows us to plan quicker and more regular releases to address the things that get reported to us in the forums, but makes for a much more stable codebase that gets better and better with each release. On top of that, we&#8217;re planning these maintenance releases to come out about every other week, ensuring that bug fixes are in your hands faster than before.<\/p>\n<p>So what can you expect in this release? A lot of bug fixes, that&#8217;s what! Let&#8217;s outline what plugins are affected and cover the change logs for each one.<\/p>\n<p>Our latest versions are now at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#tec\">The Events Calendar 4.0.6<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#pro\">Events Calendar PRO 4.0.6<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#community\">Community Events 4.0.5<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#comm-tix\">Community Tickets 4.0.3<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Facebook Events 4.0 (no change)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#eventbrite\">Eventbrite Tickets 4.0.1<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#ical\">iCal Importer 4.0.3<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#filter\">Filter Bar 4.0.3<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#event-tix\">Event Tickets 4.0.5<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#event-tix-plus\">Event Tickets Plus 4.0.5<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve already updated to The Events Calendar 4.0 or greater, then we expect smooth sailing for the update process. However, if you&#8217;re updating from anything before that, note that 4.0 was a significant update and will likely have breaking changes, particularly if you have any customizations in place.
