I was updating to WordPress 4.4. As soon as I tried updating The Events Calendar, the plugin showed as updated but when I tried to view the site all it shows is a white screen. I see the same thing happened to Richelle. I reinstalled the backup. Made all the updates except the three for the events calendar. Everything was fine. As soon as I tried to update The Events Calendar, the same thing happened; site disappeared and only white screen. So I reinstalled a backup of the site.<\/p>\n<p>Since this has happened to Richelle as well I imagine that this is happening to others as well.
