Almost all of those were entered with blank as the cost because and we include the prices, if any, in the description. For 2016 we decided to try allowing RSVP reservations using the Event Tickets option. That looks like it will be a very handy solution for us &#8211; saving a lot of time and confusion at the events.<\/p>\n<p>The only problem I noticed relates to the Cost field. After installing the Event Tickets plugin the Cost option did go away, as expected, from the add\/edit event page. However, after I added a test event using tickets for the first time, the basic &#8220;Cost: Free&#8221; line appears on that event&#8217;s detail section.<\/p>\n<p>I did some reading and found this code snippet which should add the basic Cost item back in the event admin (and it did):<\/p>\n<p>add_filter( &#8216;tribe_events_admin_show_cost_field&#8217;, &#8216;__return_true&#8217;, 100 );<\/p>\n<p>That returned the ability to edit the basic cost and I found it set to zero for my test event with tickets. So I made the basic cost blank and saved it. However, the Cost: Free is still showing on the event detail page.
