We are currently using the VOLK Facebook Calendar import plugin to automatically import posted events to our event calendar for our merchants and although it does a great job importing events, it’s very limited to the type of view options. Basically there’s only one view option – it lumps all events together with no way to view by category, day, week, month etc. You can view it working here: https:\/\/shoprva.com\/upcoming-events\/<\/p>\n
So we reached out to the plugin developer asking if there were any other options for viewing and he suggested we look at your plugin since it is more robust.<\/p>\n
So we’d like to find out a couple of things:
\n1. In your Facebook Import video, you showed that you have to check the boxes for all of the events that you want to import. We’re looking for a way to simply type in the merchants Facebook ID and let the plugin pull in all of their events without having to check boxes. Does this plugin allow for this option? <\/p>\n
2. We also would like a calendar that will allow the manual entry of events on our calendar for approved merchants. Is there a way to accomplish this and keep our calendar protected so that only approved merchants have the right to post events?<\/p>\n
3. We had to install the VOLK Facebook Calendar plugin in it’s own WordPress install setup as a sub-domain of ShopRVA.com because it caused issues with some of the other plugins and then set it up as an iframe so it looks like it’s part of the website. Will this plugin cause any conflicts with GeoTheme.com and\/or will we need to set it up as a stand alone WordPress install similar to what we did with VOLK’s?<\/p>\n
4. For just one site license to include all of the above capabilities….how much are we looking at?<\/p>\n
