I’m using The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO with a theme called “Salient” on several websites. The problem I’m having is that the plugin doesn’t get called up from a specific page but uses the default page template, so there’s no way to go in and edit the page itself to add, say, a featured header image or set the header to not use transparency. <\/p>\n
This creates a huge issue because the header and menu load by default with transparency against a white header background. As a result, the entire header area is white against white, thus invisible.<\/p>\n
The hard fix is to custom code a special template which is a royal pain and not something we want to do. An easy fix would be to create a new page for events and call the calendar plugin as the only content on that page using a short code.<\/p>\n
But I’ve looked through all the documentation and can’t find a way to just call a short code to load the calendar functionality. Is there such a thing?
