Hey everyone and happy Wednesday! We have released a minor update to our premium WooCommerce Tickets<\/a>\u00a0add-on for The Events Calendar and wanted to let you know about it.<\/p>\n

WooCommerce Tickets\u00a03.12.1<\/strong> adds support for the brand-new premium\u00a0Community Tickets<\/a> plugin that also released today.\u00a0In fact, you will notice no functional difference in WooCommerce Tickets if you are upgrading from 3.12.<\/p>\n

A popular feature request<\/a> has been to provide a way to connect our Community Events<\/a> and WooCommerce Tickets<\/a> plugins together. In other words, a way to allow people to not inly submit events to The Events Calendar from the front-end of the site, but a way to create and sell tickets for those events as well. That’s now a possibility when updating to WooCommerce Tickets 3.12.1 and adding\u00a0both Community Tickets<\/a> and WooCommerce Tickets<\/a>\u00a0to the mix. The three, when used together, will create that event submission and ticket selling powerhouse that many have been looking for!<\/p>\n

We expect smooth sailing and no breakages if you’re upgrading from WooCommerce Tickets\u00a03.12 or greater. However, if you’re upgrading from 3.11 or earlier, please do read through the release notes<\/a> for the versions that have come out since and make sure to test the updates in a development environment before using on a live site\u2014especially if you have made any customizations\u00a0to the plugin. And, as always, back up your files and database as you would with any other WordPress update.<\/p>\n
