this is probably a WP thing more an Events Calendar thing – but it’s driving me crazy. is there ANY way to have the function where selecting the parent category automatically selects it’s subcategories? When I select only the category, the listing shows ONLY the category name that i selected and not the sub categories. Events calendar organizes the the sub-categories into a drop-down menu and it’s easy for users to select the category as a whole instead of opening it and then selecting the sub categories. <\/p>\n

Alternatively, if that’s not possible, is there a way to make the category not selectable<\/em> so the user has to select the sub categories. <\/p>\n
