I am getting this error at the top of the WordPress backend (which so many others appear to have gotten, as well):<\/p>\n
“The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 3.9.1. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version.”<\/strong><\/p>\n My license key expired back in February, but I didn’t figure that I needed any ongoing support (as long the the plugin still works). I don’t want to pay $60 for another year of licensing needlessly — yet, I keep getting that nag at the top of the screen, and it’s driving me nuts.<\/p>\n This whole issue also came up because my client was trying to set up a recurring event; when they go to save their event, they get a pop-up that says “You must select a recurrence end date”<\/em> even though they’ve set an end date and selected “Every Week” from the Recurrence drop-down menu.<\/p>\n The most confusing thing is the verbiage of how that main error is worded — that the base Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO versions need to match up, but that makes no sense to me! The latest EC that I can see available from the WordPress repositories is 3.12.3, and the latest PRO version (which I just downloaded and manually installed) is 3.9.1. Those *in no way* match up, so that message to make them match seems so infuriating. (Am I missing something here?)<\/p>\n Do I have to buy a license to fix these issues?
