I think I’m trying to do something pretty basic:
\n* Show a left side-bar call-to-action (CTA) based on the type of event (speaking, workshop, etc.)<\/p>\n

I am able to do this with normal posts, but have not been able to get EC to do this at all. (See: http:\/\/www.presumptivedesign.com\/posts\/uxstrat-15-workshop-spectacular-success\/)<\/p>\n

I’ve read all of the documentation. I’ve gone through as many blog posts as I can find. I’ve tried the following:
\n1) Settings | Display – set event template to my theme’s “Left Page” template (and then tried all other choices)
\n2) Set stylesheet to any of the three choices
\n3) Under Settings | General – checked the box “Include events in main blog loop”
\n4) Attempted to show the text for any<\/em> event, regardless of category – nothing appears.<\/p>\n

Nothing allows me to include the left sidebar text\/CTA I’d like to show for a single event.<\/p>\n
