First I love the reoccurring events feature. It is flexible and dynamic.
\nThat being said I have been having some difficulty improving SEO with regards to these types of event posts. Because multiple pages are created with the same information I am concerned that search engines are having difficulty. People are searching for things and ending up on older reoccurring event posts that have passed. It also makes it difficult for me to analyze what pages are most popular to my traffic because each reoccurring event date is a separate landing page.
\nIs there a way for me to set up reoccurring events so that main event address is used each time and they simply replace themselves each time… like say a week before the event happens? Or that they only create a new and separate post if I break them out of sequence? Just brain storming a way to solve this problem and improve SEO reach as well as ensuring people end up on the page with the info they are actually looking for.<\/p>\n
On another note… I have some reoccurring events that appear in the calendar on the right dates, but the date on the actual event in the list or map view is listed as the very first one posted. Example: One is dated June 20th 2016 and reoccurring weekly and shows up each week with that June 20th date.
