Hi there I’m most interested in purchasing this for the Photo View as my event needs are very visual (lots of flyers and posters are made to support the sorts of events I want to display). I also have a lot of events so filtering is very important so that users can find what they need. Can you please answer the following? Questions are:
1. Is there a way to do a photo view for a single day? So that the user would be able to select the day and see the featured photos, large, that all take place on that day? From the demo it seems like currently in ‘day’ view there would just be little thumbnails to the left, with descriptions on the right, something like: http://wpshindig.com/events/today/?tribe-bar-date=2014-03-20
2. I need to have a heavy photo emphasis in general. Is there a way to make the photos generally larger in proportion even if layout (photo+description) remain the same?
3. Is there a way to default to a particular view, to hide other views of my choosing, and if I can default to a particular view, am I able to default to a ‘day’ view of the current day when someone loads the site?
4. Searching by Category – is there a way for a user to search events by category (e.g. ‘music’ or ‘food’ as category checkboxes, where you can select one or more than one), and by category involving other filters such as time, location, etc.?Thanks very much in advance for your answers. I really want to buy this and hope it can work out around my needs above. Thanks – Chris

Let me answer your last question first. Have you seen our Filter Bar? https://theeventscalendar.com/shop/wordpress-events-filterbar/ That allows people to filter by several different fields and sounds like what you described.
As to your other questions, I believe everything would be possible – with customization. I don’t know what level your coding skills are, but it would likely take some pretty decent chops to convert our plugins to have them display that way. If that’s something you’re up to, you can find information in our Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) and Documentation (http://docs.tri.be/) that can help you with that. If it’s not something that you’re up to yourself, you might be able to find a developer that you could hire to assist you. If you want to go that route, I may be able to point you toward some places where you might find someone.
That’s probably not the answer you were looking for, but best to give an honest assessment than lead you astray. Can I answer any other questions?
