Hide Event Category From Filter Bar

I am trying to have an event category only show up in the admin and be hidden in the filter bar on the front end. How can I handle this? The event category I am trying to hide is called “NJLTAP”.

Add this snippet to either your child theme’s functions.php file or use the My Custom Functions plugin.

Hi,

Yes, that removed the respective category (NJLTAP) from the filter bar. However, that category is also displaying in the list feed, single event page, and the [tribe_events_list] shortcode. We are using tribe_get_event_categories() to pull the category list, but since we only want NJLTAP category for admin purposes, how can we hide it from those areas as well?
