Maintenance Release for the Week of 13 May 2019

Today’s Maintenance Release is focused on Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus. We’ve added several tooltips to the attendee reports in the admin to help explain how Event Tickets calculates availability. You’ll also find that a previous issue that prevented users from submitting the attendee registration form when it was embedded on a page using the Attendee Registration shortcode has been resolved, among dozens of other fixes, tweaks and updates.

Maintenance Releases are smaller updates between major updates that are mostly comprised of bug fixes, tweaks, and small, but meaningful improvements.

Event Tickets 4.10.5

  • Feature – Add tooltips to the Attendee Report page
  • Feature – Add tooltip to explain what statuses are behind Pending Order Completion
  • Feature – Add tooltip to explain how “Available Count Per Ticket” is calculated
  • Feature – Add tooltips to explain the sold and available tickets amounts in the block editor
  • Fix – Add checks to tribe_events_count_available_tickets() and tribe_events_has_unlimited_stock_tickets() to properly detect unlimited tickets.
  • Fix – Change inventory to compare the correct ticket when checking the shared ticket capacity for events
  • Fix – Make Attendees Report match the order report, specifically making sure that “Total Tickets Issued” do not include cancelled tickets

  • Tweak – Add new tooltip.view PHP class to render new tooltips that utilize the existing tribe-tooltip CSS class for universal utility

  • Tweak – Add a method to get all possible names of the completed status by e-commerce provider
  • Tweak – Revise the success message that displays in the admin when moving a ticket

Event Tickets Plus 4.10.4

  • Feature – Add tooltips to the attendee report, utilizing a new tooltip object in tribe-common
  • Feature – Add support for checkbox values returning as “Checked” when populating data for attendee list exports
  • Tweak – Verify the status of attendees as complete when they are checked in using the REST API
  • Tweak – Utilize the order items to generate the Order Report for WooCommerce instead of referring to the attendee
  • Tweak – Remove cancelled orders from counting as Pending Completion on the WooCommerce Tickets Order Page
  • Tweak – Change some tooltip text on the Attendee Report page for clarity around capacity, inventory, and stock
  • Tweak – Adjust the styling of the Attendee Information required fields indicator
  • Tweak – Added filters: tribe_tickets_plus_get_total_cancelled, tribe_events_tickets_plus_attendees_list_checkbox_label
  • Fix – Update shared capacity on the deletion of attendee for WooCommerce and EDD Attendees
  • Fix – Make the attendees report match the order report, specifically making sure that “Total Tickets Issued” should not include cancelled tickets
  • Fix – Make sure that WC()->cart is set before we try to get its contents
  • Fix – Prevent tickets from being counted twice in the order report when two or more tickets are included in an order
  • Fix – Ensure capacity changes for source and target tickets when moving a ticket from one type to another
  • Fix – Deprecate old option key ticket-attendee-info-slug for the attendee registration shortcode to prevent errors
  • Fix – Change cookie settings so that attendee information is passed through to checkout properly on non-secure sites
  • Fix – Alter a query so EDD Stock_Control->get_purchased_inventory() takes moved tickets into account
  • Language – 9 new strings added, 26 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 1 obsoleted
