TrustedLogin automates creating a special user account with limited permissions, generates a time-limited access key, and ensures access is revoked after a certain period. After the period expires (one week), the support account is automatically removed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-revoking-or-extending-access\">Revoking or Extending Access<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><thead><tr><th>Action<\/th><th>Steps<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Revoke Access Before Expiry<\/strong><\/td><td>Go to&nbsp;<strong>Events \u2192 Help \u2192 Provide Support Access<\/strong>, then click&nbsp;<strong>Revoke Access<\/strong>. This immediately removes the support user account, and support no longer has access.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Extend Access<\/strong><\/td><td>If you need more time beyond the current access period, return to&nbsp;<strong>Events \u2192 Help \u2192 Provide Support Access<\/strong> and click&nbsp;<strong>Extend Access<\/strong>. This resets the time window for another full period.&nbsp;<em>Note: if you still have some days left, extending doesn\u2019t add onto the remaining days; it resets to the full duration.<\/em><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-to-do-with-the-site-access-key\">What to Do with the Site Access Key<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This key is&nbsp;<strong>only usable through TrustedLogin<\/strong>. It is not a password; it does not grant you or anyone else extra access outside of TrustedLogin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share the&nbsp;<strong>Site Access Key<\/strong>&nbsp;only via your support ticket. It is safe to do so under those conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-best-practices-amp-security-notes\">Best Practices &amp; Security Notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make sure you\u2019re logged in with an administrator account, so the system can create the support account properly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only share the access key in the official support ticket; avoid posting sensitive credentials in public forums or insecure messages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After TrustedLogin access expires (or you revoke it), verify that the support account has been removed from your users list under <strong>Users \u2192 All Users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If ever in doubt, ask the support team why they need access, what tasks they will perform, and how long they expect to need it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is TrustedLogin?
