Do you need to show off your events calendar on another website like Wix or Squarespace? Want to share a tailored calendar view with community event creators or collaborators? With our Calendar Embed<\/strong>, you can do just that \u2014 in just a few clicks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Is the Calendar Embed?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Calendar Embed<\/strong> feature lets you display a calendar view from your website on any other site using a simple embed code (like a YouTube video embed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can choose which events show up by filtering them by event<\/strong> category<\/strong> or tag<\/strong>, then copy and paste the generated code wherever you\u2019d like to share your calendar \u2014 on another website, blog, or anywhere on the internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> The Calendar Embed can only use the Month View layout. When someone clicks on an event, the event is opened in a new tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Create Calendar Embeds<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In your WordPress dashboard, head to Events \u2192 Calendar<\/strong> Embeds,<\/strong> where you will find all your Calendar Embeds. If you don’t have any, you can add them by clicking on “Add New Calendar Embed”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you click on “Add New Calendar Embed”, you will have the option to give your embed a name<\/strong> and pick the event categories<\/strong> and\/or tags<\/strong> you want to include in this Calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the Calendar Embed is published, you will be able to see a preview of how it will look once embedded, and be able to get the embed code that is needed to display it on a different site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clicking the “Get Embed Snippet” opens up a dialog window with the code that you need to paste wherever you may want to display this Calendar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paste It Into Your Site<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Once you’ve generated your Embed Snippet, you can paste it into any site, and the calendar will display. In this example, I am pasting the code in an HTML block in my personal WordPress website to display the Calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
