Our WordPress Meetup Organizer Program grants free Personal subscriptions of Event Aggregator to approved Meetup.com group organizers. These subscriptions can be used for sharing upcoming community events beyond the Meetup platform on a separate WordPress site, provided a group maintains such a site for their members.
Meetup.com currently hosts over 1,000 WordPress meetup groups with over 350,000 members. The goal of this program is to promote involvement in the WordPress community by providing WordPress group organizers an easy, simple tool to fetch their events hosted on Meetup.com and display them on their WordPress website calendar.
Any Meetup group organizer meeting all of the following criteria may apply for the program:
- Your meetup group’s primary topic is related to WordPress
- You are listed as an organizer of the group
- You have a WordPress website for the group
Subscriptions granted through our Meetup Organizer Program provide access to automated updates when new versions of the plugin are released. However, these subscriptions do not grant access to our premium help desk. If you need access to our premium help desk, you will need to purchase a paid subscription.

Each application will be reviewed by our team to confirm the program criteria have been met. In the spirit of transparency, we encourage all approved applicants to be transparent with their group members around receipt of the donated subscription. Once approved, we will email you a special coupon code, as well as sample text you can share as a brief announcement with your members.
Complimentary licenses are limited to one per meetup group, regardless of number of organizers. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue this program at any time. Thank you for your understanding.
