If you’ve got an expired license, you’ll need to renew it so that you can continue getting automatic updates, downloads, and premium support access. We’ll send you an email when you license is about to expire so you don’t forget. Scroll down to Renewing from the Reminder Email for details.
You can always check the status and expiration date of your license(s) from your account’s License Keys page. You can renew a license at any time from that page.
Renewing from your License Keys Page
Let’s walk through the basic renewal process. As an example, we’ll use this Events Calendar PRO Personal license which expired on March 15, 2014.
To renew the license, simply click the blue Renew License button on the right. That takes you directly to the checkout page. Fill out your payment information, accept the Terms and Conditions, and hit Place Order. Now if you look at your License Keys page, you’ll see that the license expiration date has been extended for a year.
In the example above, the expiration date was extended one year from the date the renewal was purchased, since the license was already expired. If you renew a license that has not yet expired, the date will be extended one year from the current expiration date- so you’ll always get a full year for each renewal.
Renewing from the Reminder Email
If you have a license that is about to expire, you’ll automatically get an email reminder.
You can renew your license right from that email by clicking the link provided. That will take you directly to checkout for the renewal. Fill out your payment information, accept the Terms and Conditions, and hit Place Order. Now if you look at your License Keys page, you’ll see that the license expiration date has been extended for a year.
If you have trouble renewing a license, you can email us at support (at) theeventscalendar.com. Please include your username so we can take a look at your account.
