If you’re looking to let your users save an event as a PDF, you’ve come to the right place! Although The Events Calendar does not have this functionality out of the box, the good news is that you can easily integrate with a third-party plugin to add this functionality to your WordPress site.

So let’s see how to make that happen below!

Install WP Advanced PDF

The first thing you’ll want to do is install the free third-party plugin, WP Advanced PDF. To learn more about how to install a plugin, check out this Knowledgebase article.

Install WP Advanced PDF

Adjust the settings

Next, visit Settings > WP Advanced PDF to configure the plugin settings for events.

If you want users to save your events as a PDF, you’ll want to check the Front End option. Then decide whether you’d like the PDF to be available to all users or just logged-in users.

Expand the General tab and check off tribe_events under Allowed Post Types to add PDFs to your events. You can also add a PDF export option to venues and organizers there.

You can also alter the position of the PDF button, along with some additional settings, so feel free to open up the other settings tabs and explore. Once you save your changes, go ahead and take a look at one of your event pages. It will look something like this:
