The Events Calendar 4.9.8 and Events Calendar Pro 4.7.7
We are excited to announce that we just shipped a maintenance release for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO! This release ensures that images can be imported into events from CSV files and that a compatibility issue with Outlook calendars causing event times to be off by one hour is fixed up.
The Events Calendar 4.9.8
- Fix – Conforms iCalendar feed to specifications by removing quotes around timezone values. This fixes Outlook compatibility and ensures that imported events will have the correct time.
- Fix – Additional fields with multiple values using pipes (|) as separators importing properly again.
- Fix – Closes a default view redirection loop on mobile devices. Thanks Ricardo, cittaslow and others for flagging this!
- Fix – Improves how the featured image setting is handled during Event Aggregator CSV imports, ensuring that featured images are included in the import.
- Tweak – Adds the Monolog logging library as an alternative logging backend.
- Tweak – Hooks the Monolog logger on the tribe_log action
- Tweak – Adds the tribe( ‘logger’ )->log() redirection calls to the Monolog logger using the tribe_log_use_action_logger filter.
- Language – 5 new strings added, 23 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 0 obsoleted
Events Calendar Pro 4.7.7
- Fix – The “Fix venues data” button on the Settings screen will no longer display if no venue data needs to be fixed.
- Language – 5 new strings added, 23 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 0 obsoleted
